Eligibility
Age
All travelers must be at least 18 years old and a maximum of 35 to travel with Venture Road.
Health
You must be in general good health. In addition, Venture Road requires you to have some kind of health insurance while a part of the program.
You will responsible for all incurred costs if they arise. You will be required to have your own health information and vaccinations with you at all times. You may submit whatever health information to Venture Road that you’d like. You will be responsible for your own wellbeing.
Venture Road reserves the right to insist on medical certification from your doctor, stating that you are medically and physically fit for your travels with the program. If you suffer from heart, chest, muscular, neurological or respiratory disorders, severe asthma or high blood pressure, or other acute / chronic illness, you must inform Venture Road prior to your involvement in the program. You should also seek medical advice from a qualified specialist before joining a tour.
Application
Venture Road reserves the right to decline anyone from joining a tour with justifiable cause. Venture Road also reserves the right to remove you from a tour if you are a hazard to yourself or others, impacting the enjoyment of others, or participating in any illegal activity. Any costs resulting from being removed from a trip or being declined participation in a trip is at your expense.
Venture Road accepts no responsibility for any airline cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable ticket or any other cost that you may incur.
Booking Details
Payment Options
We accept payments through PayPal or if you prefer we can send you an invoice from PayPal for the amount of the payment and you will be able to pay directly with your credit card.
Deposit
All tours require a non-refundable deposit to save your spot on the tour, payment plans will be available thereafter. 60 days before the start of the tour, half of your tour amount is due. You must pay the full balance of your tour 30 days before the arrival date. Failure to do so, will result in a non-refund of payment(s).
If booking within 60 days or less of the tour start date, half of your tour amount is due at the time of booking. You will still be responsible for completing your payment 30 days before the start of your tour.
Venture Road is not responsible for your airfare to get to Denver or your airfare after the tour is over to get home or wherever you’d like to go. You must wait to buy your airfare until you submit your deposit, and complete application. Once we have received both and confirmed your participation in the tour, you can go ahead and purchase your airfare.
Price Changes
Dates, schedules, trip details and costs are given in good faith, based on information available and in effect at the time they are given. They are subject to change and revision in the event of a change of circumstances. Venture Road reserves the right to revise fees at any time and without notice. If you have already submitted an application and the initial deposit, and not yet begun your trip, Venture Road will honor the original pricing at the time of application.
Insurance
You must have travel Insurance for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation and/or repatriation with a coverage of at least $100,000. Venture Road will not be responsible for covering any expenses resulting from a medical emergency, visit to a local doctor, any medical procedure, or repatriation. If you don’t already have travel insurance, you can wait for your acceptance email to purchase the necessary coverage from the insurer that the organization works with if you want a different plan than what Venture Road includes with your tuition .
Visas and legal entrance to the destination
Valid passports are required for travel to most destinations. Please check with the appropriate consulate or embassy for the latest visa requirements. You assume complete and full responsibility for, and hereby release Venture Road from any duty or responsibility for, checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety or security conditions at such destinations. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of information provided to the organization.
Cancellation / Refunds
Cancellations by Venture Road
If Venture Road is forced to notably modify or cancel your trip (not due to any factors outside of Venture Road' control, such as weather, natural disaster, acts of war or partner actions, you will receive a full refund of all paid money to Venture Road, with the exception of flight costs and cancellation costs.
Cancellation by you
The initial deposit is non-refundable. Any Payment to Venture Road past that will be refunded minus flight cost to your cancelled destination.
Flight related cancellations
Venture Road takes no responsibility for any flight delays or schedule changes at any stage throughout the tour. In the event of any such changes no refund will be considered and you must seek recompense through your own travel insurance.
We recommend you purchase insurance, for trip and baggage delay, trip cancellation or interruption. Your airline can provide you with more information.
Claims
Anyone looking to make a claim for a cancelled tour must do so in writing or email within 45 days after the tour cancellation. Any and all supporting documentation to the claim or complaint must accompany the written letter or email. Any claim or complaint received by Venture Road after this deadline will not be accepted or reviewed. Venture Road reserves the right to honor or resolve these claims at its exclusive discretion.
Refunds
If you make a deposit to travel and pay a partial or total amount for any destination and your application is denied, Venture Road will reimburse you 100% of the money you paid if your cancelation is processed 45 days before your tour. However, airfare is not included and you should wait until your application has been approved to purchase any tickets.
During your trip
Optional Activities
During the trips, there will be opportunities to participate in activities or local events, which are not included in Venture Road operations. Venture Road disclaims all responsibility and makes no representations or warranties with regard to the safety or quality of these activities and event. Any assistance given to you by any member of the Venture Road staff to help arrange these optional activities, or has their participation does not constitute a waiver of this disclaimer, as Venture Road does not sponsor or endorse these activities or events, nor can Venture Road be held liable for any injury or illness or any consequence resulting from your participation.
If you decide to participate in these events, you do so voluntarily and are responsible for taking appropriate precautions to ensure your own safety.
All optional activities are paid by you, locally and directly to the supplier of the activity, event, or service.
Risks and Hazards
Risks and hazards that may be present during any tour include, but are not limited to:
Travel by automobile or other means of transportation. Hazards of hiking, exploring, or participating in activities that take place in remote or rugged, unpredictable terrain and where phone or radio communications are unavailable. Risks associated with wildlife encounters while participating in any outdoor activity. Risks associated with crossing roadways and entering/exiting vehicles, the unavailability of immediate medical attention or means of rapid evacuation in case of emergency. Risks of injury, dehydration, or even death resulting from your participation in any sporting or adventurous activity such as boating, surfing, fishing, swimming, diving, parasailing, hiking, yoga, zip lines, rope swings, walking tours, photography tours, vehicle tours, and scenic flights. Mechanical or construction failures of vehicles and equipment. Any physical, mental, or other conditions or disabilities that belong to you or anyone you are traveling with; you may be a hazard to any group members and may be exacerbated by any of the other risks listed above. Acts of God, acts of terrorism, forces of nature, and unpredictable weather conditions. Areas of unsafe or unstable conditions due to political or civil disturbances, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In addition to assuming each and every one of the risks of a trip, some of which are listed above, you agree to be responsible for any and all expenses resulting from any inherent risk, whether identified or not, and as a result of your negligence, including physical injuries or any other kind of medical emergency.
Your participation in Venture Road activities is purely voluntary. No one is forcing you to participate, and you elect to do so in spite of the risks. You may choose to not participate in certain activities, however, no refunds from Venture Road will result from this decision.
Seat Belt Policy
To ensure the safety of our Travelers and staff, it is your responsibility to wear your seatbelt properly and at all times while the vehicle is in motion.
However, some vehicles internationally may not be equipped with these restraints as accepted by local laws.
Local Laws and Drug Use
Traveling to international destinations will expose you to unique situations and experiences that may be different than those you are familiar with in your home country. Venture Road' staff will discuss these differences during your trip, but you also have a responsibility to perform your own research and act responsibly while traveling. Venture Road does not endorse drug use of any kind during our trips and strongly encourages responsible alcohol consumption. This policy is in place for your safety and those traveling with you. Safety is our priority.
Excessive drinking, could cause your removal from the trip at the consideration and evaluation of the Venture Road staff.
Participating in any illegal activities will result in your immediate removal from the trip.
In any case of removal of a traveler from any trip, Venture Road will not be held responsible for any expenses related to this action or for any refunds of a partial or total cost of the trip.
Photography
Venture Road reserves the right to take photographs at any time during any trip and use them for promotional purposes. By booking a reservation with Venture Road, you agree to allow your images to be used in such photographs. These images will not be sold for any purpose without your inspection or approval. You hereby release Venture Road from all current and/or future claims and liability relating to photographs.
The photographer on the trips, own the rights to the photos and are allowed to use them for personal and promotional purposes only.

In accordance with the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and International Ship and Port Facility Security Code, the following items are prohibited while traveling in Venture Road. Confiscated items cannot be returned and will be destroyed. This list is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Applicable Law
Venture Road and Customers hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of a state or federal court situated in Colorado and the United States of America, for any actions, or proceedings arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions.
Venture Road will use reasonable efforts to publish any changes to its Terms and Conditions made from time to time, including publishing the updates terms and conditions on our website.
